Project Description

The project generated more advanced illustrative animations of finite element simulation for teaching in structural mechanics and stress analysis courses.

Project Outcome

• A total of 64 cases of illustrative animations of finite element stimulation in 6 major topics were generated. Animation clips were uploaded to the website http://ihome.ust.hk/~mech101/.

• The project was implemented in the two courses. Students were encouraged to learn the concepts through the website for self learning.
