Project Description

The projects aimed to stimulate students learning interest  in probility and statistics as well as to enhance students' ability in programming by developing and introducing a series of HKUST-related examples.

Project Outcome

Chapters about fundamentals of probability and statistics, HKUST-relevant examples, and VBA solutions and source codes for each problem set are documented in a 200-plus-page book which is now being used as a supplemental material to CIVL2160 for improving and stimulating students' learning of probability / statistics, and Excel programming.
