Project Description

To enrich students’ onsite experience in geological and geotechnical education, three 360° VR-geological field trip videos will be produced and augmented with knowledge details and methods of assessment.

• These VR videos will be edited to augment the level of details of knowledge delivery and assessment, including texts and images of the explanations of geological sites
• Questions will be designed to stimulate, train and foster the observation ability and critical thinking of students during the virtual field trips such as they will be asked to document what has been observed.
• Quizzes will be designed for self-assessment after the virtual field trips to examine whether the learning outcomes can be achieved and to refine and improve the efficiency of the VR videos.
