Cases and Open Problems

Case study is a learning practice that shifts the emphasis from lecture-based activities towards more student-based activities. The aim of case study is to help students demonstrate the theoretical concepts in real-life issues. In general, teaching materials can be a short journal, news article, a scenario of problem solving and decision making; they can be an open-ended question, a picture or even a diagram.
