In this sharing session, the presenter has discussed some issues encountered during both the design and delivery of the course that might be of general interest to course designers and instructors not limited to the computing discipline.
About the Speakers:
Prof Yeung is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at HKUST. He received his BEng and MPhil degrees from the University of Hong Kong and PhD degree from the University of Southern California. He is passionate about teaching and learning and has been serving for many years on a number of committees related to undergraduate education, including the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Studies (CUS) and the common core course review panels.
Prof Li is a Lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering at HKUST. She obtained her PhD degree from HKUST and has devoted herself to teaching since then. She has extensive experience in delivering both major and common core courses.
