Engaging and Facilitating Meaningful Reflection to Enhance Students’ Learning
What would entice students to reflect by choice? How can this stimulus be embedded within a variety of learning opportunities? Experience a wide range of approaches to reflection that lead to diverse outcomes. Together we will explore and widen the parameters for what reflection can look like, feel like, and achieve. See how reflection can be informative, generative and transformative. Options are extensive so be prepared to stretch your ideas and create possibilities!

About the Speaker:
Cathryn Berger Kaye, M.A., a former classroom teacher, is an international service learning and education consultant. She presents at conferences around the world and works with state departments of education, university faculty and students, school districts, and classroom teachers on a variety of education issues such as service learning, civic responsibility, student leadership, and respectful school communities. She is the author of numerous books and articles on including The Complete Guide to Service Learning available in both English and Chinese.
