Ms July Rongjiao ZHU, Senior Project Associate, Department of Management and Marketing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Format:  Seminar

Seminar Overview:

We all know that we learn from doing. Yet all educators know that we learn even more when we ‘think’ about what we are doing. In this session, the presenter has walked through an innovative pedagogical framework that has been developed and tested over the past 8 years, called “Staying F.O.C.U.S.E.D.” with the participants and how it helps in engaging students to open up alternatives to better deal with unsolved problems, issues and challenges.  Attendees also had hands-on opportunity to see how it might be applied to your own individual teaching (research and/or administrative) contexts, regardless of your disciplinary field.  Please click this link to see the impact of the “Staying F.O.C.U.S.E.D.” framework to date.
