Training Camp for Research Postgraduates (RPGs)
Venue: Po Leung Kuk Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp
Target Participants: All RPGs
Quota: 38
Deposit: $500 (Refundable*)
Transportation: Self-arranged by participants
Objectives:
To provide an inspiring experience for RPGs to develop leadership capabilities, the Center for Enhanced Learning and Teaching (CELT), in collaboration with TA Coordinator Committee (TACC), has organized this overnight Leadership Training Camp. You will find this a great opportunity to nurture friendship and cultivate supportive relationships that help you carry out your TA roles smoothly and blend with the UST community.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore and unleash your leadership potential and capabilities through our specially-designed adventure-based activities. We have also prepared challenges and obstacles for you to achieve personal breakthrough.
Application:
Online application is open from 31 Oct (Friday, 9am) to 3 November (Monday, 5pm)
As an application criteria, you will be asked to write a short paragraph (around 100 words) to describe your reasons for joining the training camp. Vacancies are filled on the first-come-first-served basis+.
Successful Application
Only successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from CELT on 4 November. You will need to submit the refundable deposit of $500 to CELT on 5–7 November to have your seat secured (more information will be given in the confirmation email). Failing in submitting the deposit by the deadline means giving up the chance and the opportunity will go to those in the waiting list.

*The HK$500 deposit is for the purpose of reserving a place in the camp. The deposit will be refunded to those who register and attend the camp. For those who have registered but fail to show up for the training camp will otherwise not receive any refund.
+The vacancies of the training camp are available on a first-come-first-served basis; yet, priority is given to those who have not participated in other training camps offered by CELT. As camp participants are housed in single-sex rooms, CELT may perform screening of applicants if required.
