Using WordPress/BuddyPress for Teaching

In this workshop, the speaker presented to instructors with the knowledge of how to access, manage, integrate, create, and evaluate the use of WordPress and BuddyPress (blogging and social networking platforms) for course materials and learning environments. In addition they have reviewed some examples of how WordPress and BuddyPress have been used in Language Center courses, participants will be given hands-on experience with the tools. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss different strategies for incorporating WordPress and BuddyPress into a curriculum under a product/project-based approach to teaching and learning.
