What Do Students Tell Us About How They Learn At UST? Findings of a Two-Year Investigation on the Study and Learning Strategies of HKUST Students

In this seminar , Dr Lucia Yeung and Dr Tak Ha reported the findings of a two-year Student Learning Research program conducted by CELT on a sample of students in the 2007-2008 cohort. They hoped such findings will assist faculty and instructors at HKUST to build an evidence-based understanding of how students learn. This intends to provide faculty and instructors with additional useful information to inform their teaching and curriculum development. The research project is on-going and suggestions are always welcome for collaboration.
