Workshop on Group Facilitation

In the first part of the workshop, participants explored the methods of group facilitation while they worked on tasks in groups. It gave the opportunities for real-time reflection about the dynamics of group learning and ways to cope with challenges.
In the second part of the workshop, participants got the chance to work on some hands-on experience in facilitating group collaboration. Together the groups learnt the key elements to effective facilitation and discovered tools and approaches for using them in blended and experiential teaching.
The workshop provided participants some quick tips to motivate participation, hands-on skills to guide students’ learning through experience and reflection, also some practical, easy-to-use methods to facilitate discussions and interactions.
