It is a key part of the undergraduate educational experience, complementing studies in specialist disciplines and other learning opportunities. In this introductory session, Professor King Chow will share with participants the vision and goals of the Common Core and how he sees it could help to trigger students to think about the purposes of university education and its value to them. He will explain the common core course development process and share how common core instructors will be supported in this educational journey.
