Speaker:  Professor Mike SO
Associate Professor (Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management)

Format: Seminar

In this workshop, the presenter has discussed an assessment reporting system which generates not only students’ comments on the teaching methodology and program deliverables for us to make quality improvement on our teaching methodologies and program design, but also individual student reports showing key performance factors, such as learning attitude, IT and communication skills, as well as integration of knowledge power for students to understand better their strengths and weaknesses through their learning behavior. The presenter also shared how the assessment reporting system helps follow a group of undergraduate students for more than one year to keep track of the students’ performance on generic skills throughout the course study. The impact of systematic assessment on interdisciplinary education was also discussed.
