Teaching in a Virtual Classroom

This spring semester, CELT offers you two workshops on the use of the online collaborative platform Virtual Classroom. In the first workshop, you will take part in an online experiential tour that demonstrates the key functions and features of a Virtual Classroom from the perspective of the participants. In the second workshop, you will get to see behind the scenes of a virtual class, in other words, you will learn about designing and delivering interactive content through Virtual Classroom.

About the Virtual Classroom
The application Virtual Classroom is powered by Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing. It offers a synchronous online collaborative platform for instructors to meet their target audience virtually in a geographically dispersed context. The instructors can use the platform for a variety of purposes such as teaching online, doing presentations, and moderating online discussions.
