Teaching Conversations Series: Can Teamwork Skills be Taught and Assessed?

In this conversation, Prof Edmond Ko shared his experience in trying to help students develop teamwork skills systematically in two courses at HKUST, a lecture course in the School of Business and a laboratory course in the School of Engineering, through explicit instruction, opportunities to practice, and formative feedback. Evaluation results from these two courses have identified promising approaches as well as issues and challenges that need to be addressed.
